Re: Xenon - 19 Dec. Less of the heightist remarks, my good fellow (am I a long, time collector?) - and how did you know about doing time?Huh? More seriously, in short ('cos I'm only 5'3") I started film collecting in '87 (I was only 5 at the time!!) and started 35mm about 3 years ago. I've got std8, Super8, Single8, 9.5, 16mm & 35mm - plus VHS, LaserDisc, 8mm video, CED and proper records. I have 3 VPs, 1 35mm, 20 16mm, 10 or so 8mm and a few 9.5mm machines. I'm a very loose collector - basically if a film appeals to me I'll go for it. I have a cinema in the garden (its OK, 'Er Indoors has her workshop in the garden with all her power tools!) and so I can play in peace. With Madam's help I'm fitting more lighting and she's working on masking etc. All in all, dearer than booze but cheaper than women!
Cheers, and have a good Xmnas & NY!!
