I had a few good buys in 2012 - a couple of cartoons, some daysets, a couple of features, an Odeon ashtray and a nice ABC cinema sign, but I will mainly associate 2012 with disasters to my film collection.  Not having run certain films for several years, I though I should inspect them.  "Capricorn One", "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind", "A Study In Terror", "Carry On Cowboy" and "Flash Gordon" (1980) all pink!!!.  My lovely print of "The Lost Boys" and reel 1 of "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier" (reel 1 is from the USA, the rest from the UK) with vinegar syndrome.  I hope that 2013 will be better.

Reading about the bad luck you had last year, no matter what, this next year only can bring you better things !!

I'm very sorry about the material you lost.
